The Practice
DOMA ARCHITECTURE was born of a passion for architecture and a conviction. Architecture is above all made of human experiences, those of the people who inhabit places as much as those who design and build them. The finest projects are born of this dialogue, carried through with rigour to completion. Trained both at universities around the world and at Swiss institutions renowned for their technical rigour, and seasoned in Geneva practices known for their demands, we have brought our practices together within a single structure.
The practice has been built around residential renovation, old apartments, grand townhouses, family villas, but also the design and fitting out of shops. We love buildings that have a history, their imperfections, their crafted details, and we bring them into dialogue with today's uses, without nostalgia or a break devoid of meaning.
Our team is multidisciplinary. Architects, interior architects, designers and graphic designers work side by side, each bringing their craft to the shared story of the project. Whoever draws the plans also follows the site works, ensuring continuous coherence and a keen attention to detail, from the first sketch to the placement of the last decorative element.
Based in Geneva and Brussels, we cultivate a view nourished by these two cities, Swiss rigour, Brussels freedom and creativity. Two cultures of building, one same demand.
